Probably the most hard work I've put into any course so far. I thought I had a lot of patience before taking up this course but Perspective really pushed me. These might look like simple illustrations but there is a foundation of perfect constructions and accurate perspective that led to the final illustration. Who knew even shadows had constructions. I mean let's make the world a simpler place to live in :P
Jokes aside, I learnt so much from this class and came out a little wiser from one of my most dreaded subjects.

Funny how I was itching to go out and paint but couldn't find the time to do it. And then I took a class that made me paint every week. Still can't believe I woke up early morning to capture the sunrise or drove down on my cycle on a foggy day to capture that environment. I chose the fountain near California Academy of Sciences in Golden gate park, just because of how awesome this place is. Over the course of 14 weeks, we had to paint a plein air which is outdoor painting every week at different times of the day.

Color assignment involved fusing Harry potter with Feudal Japan. So I decided to showcase Bellatrix as my main character posed as a Samurai protecting lord Voldemort. I wanted to depict Voldemort from the Philosopher's stone and the half blood prince, before he achieves his human form. My inspiration came from the ancient japanese spirits and ghost stories.
